Perfectly matched to the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 1:4/90 mm
In combination with the Leica M (with Live View function) and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 1:4/90 mm, the Leica Macro-Adapter-M is perfectly matched and can be used for effective close-up photography up to a scale of over 1:2.
The adapter is attached between the camera and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 1:4/90 mm. Equipped with an integrated adjustment screw, it allows the Lens to be extended between 18 and 30 mm. This allows the magnification to be variably adjusted. Together with the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 1:4/90 mm can also be used in the lowered position for shots up to infinity. Thanks to the new locking function, all distances from 41 cm (magnification 1:2) to infinity can be set without having to remove the adapter.
Wide range of image composition options with other M-Lenses
As the Macro-Adapter-M can also be used with other M-Lenses, Leica M photographers have a wide range of possibilities for image composition and varied reportage. With Leica lenses from 50 mm focal length, macro shots can be taken up to a reproduction scale of 1:2, and even higher reproduction scales can be achieved with wide-angle lenses. The required object distance decreases with the focal length. The combination of adapter and Lens with 28 mm, 35 mm or 50 mm focal length creates interesting effects. The short distance to the object creates a strong perspective distortion and a very selective sharpness. As, unlike a macro lens, the imaging performance of these lenses has not been optimized for the close-up range, it is recommended to stop down 1 to 2 stops. It is not advisable to use the Macro Adapter with Lens with a focal length of less than 28 mm, as the distance to the object must be very close to achieve a sharp image.

  • You do not make any discriminatory, sexist, immoral, racist or otherwise unlawful statements or share any content

Terms of use for community ratings and media

These terms of use apply to the participation in and use of the customer ratings of Hifi Foto Koch GmbH. In the event of conflicts with the general terms and conditions or data protection regulations, these terms of use shall take precedence.

By submitting a customer rating and/or an upload of media (e.g. pictures, videos, audio files, texts, documents etc.) you assure that

  • You are the sole author of the content and own all copyrights
  • You accept the guidelines for ratings and community media and you are at least 14 years old
  • Your information is neither false, misleading nor inaccurate
  • You do not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or publication rights
  • You do not violate any data protection rights, personal rights of third parties or any other rights or laws

You provide your content free of charge and are not entitled to any form of remuneration or compensation. There is no entitlement to publication.

Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. The content may be edited or deleted if it violates the guidelines for ratings and community media as well as these terms of use or if it makes sense for the respective purpose. It is also possible to shorten the content at any time and without giving reasons.

Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.

You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.

By submitting your customer opinion and/or uploading media, you agree to the Review and Community Media Guidelines and Terms of Use. By providing your email address, you agree that Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and agents may send you status information of your customer opinion by email.
