New: The LEICA MONOVID 8x20 offers outstanding optics in vest pocket format

With the new Leica Monovid 8x20, a monocular binocular, the traditional brand is adding another product highlight to its range of sports optics. The 8x magnification and extremely compact dimensions of just 105x35mm, combined with the high-quality workmanship in an elegant design, make the Leica Monovid 8x20 the ideal companion: for bird and insect observation, hunting and other outdoor activities, as well as cultural and sporting events.

The Leica AquaDuraTM developed by Leica on the outer glass surface of the Leica Monovid 8x20 means that water drops simply roll off the optics. This ensures better visibility, especially in the rain. The Monovid can be used optimally even in unfavorable weather conditions and high humidity. In addition, the lenses can be cleaned even easier and faster thanks to this special coating.

With the close-up lens included in the scope of delivery, detailed observations of the finest structures are possible from a distance of 25cm. This results in the so-called "macro effect". Especially shy insects can be observed from a safe distance.

The integration of the optical components in a solid, nitrogen-filled aluminum housing guarantees highest optical precision and durability. The lightweight body, which is water pressure-tight down to a depth of 5m, protects the instrument even when used under extreme conditions.
