  • for adjusting slide CASTEL-MICRO

Bellows attachment for the CASTEL-MICRO motorized focusing slide. In conjunction with the appropriate Lens, this bellows is suitable for focus stacking in macro photography as well as for demanding product photography, where absolute sharpness and maximum depth of field are essential. The SCHNEIDER APO-DIGITAR 4.5 90mm, for example, is ideal for this purpose.

All adapters from the BALPRO adapter system are available for adapting cameras and Lens.

The stacking steps are usually carried out by moving the camera standard. On the one hand, this has the advantage that the Lens does not change in relation to the subject, which can be important for controlling reflections in jewelry shots, for example.

In product photography, larger objects can also be stacked in this way without any problems as only the focus is adjusted and therefore, in contrast to the usual stacking methods, the entire distance does not have to be covered.

The advantage of the stacking method compared to the classic Scheimpflug tilt adjustment is obvious. With stacking, a uniform maximum sharpness is achieved over the entire subject area, whereas with the Scheimpflug method, maximum sharpness can only be achieved in one plane despite adjustment.

Please note that some of the accessories shown in our application images, such as cameras, Lens, etc., are not included in the scope of delivery.
