  • TetherBlock
  • secure cable connection to the camera
  • protects expensive camera connections from damage
  • lightweight and robust
  • various cable channels for thick, medium and thin cables
  • Lead-through for cables: USB 3.0 Micro-B, USB-A 2.0, DC socket
  • Rubber anti-slip pads to prevent slipping on the camera
  • 1/4 and 3/8 inch internal thread for attaching a tripod plate or other accessories

The TetherBlock provides strain relief to prevent the cable connection from being unintentionally pulled out and the data interface from being damaged.
Camera data connections are sensitive and expensive to repair. When taking wired photos in the studio or on location, it can happen very quickly that someone trips over the cable or you get caught somewhere in the heat of the moment. The result is that the cable is torn out and the camera connection is damaged. The TetherBlock is therefore the safe solution for all photographers who take wired photos, whether with a tripod or handheld.

The TetherBlock was developed to prevent accidental removal of a cable from the data ports of your camera by looping a USB, FireWire or HDMI cable through one of the three channels of the TetherBlock. A 1/4 inch -20 slotted screw secures the plate to the camera and can be tightened with a screwdriver or coin. The underside of the TetherBlock has a 1/4 and a 3/8 inch thread so that it can be mounted directly onto a tripod plate or tripod head.
